Colby lost 2 teeth right at the end of Kindergarten and until about 3 weeks ago he had not lost another. That makes a year and a half of watching his sister begin to lose teeth, and falling behind in the count!
Then 3 weeks ago he lost his a tooth on the bottom. He was so excited, though somewhat upstaged by his sister who had an abscessed tooth that had to be pulled (giving her more tooth fairy money~ due to the trama).
In the weeks since he has now lost his 2 front teeth. The night of Eli's birthday he decided he wanted Daddy to pull out his tooth. It was hanging by a thread. They finally got the floss around the tooth, but it kept coming off when they would pull. Insert Mommy, who just stuck it around and jerked until out it popped. He is now very proud of his BIG gap!

But never fear, we got it out and now we have one VERY happy boy, with a big boy smile!

Yay for Colby! I gotta tell you, the tooth pulling stuff makes me squinch up a little. I just don't know if I could pull my kid's tooth out - but you guys did a great job of it! :-)
