My little boy turned 4 Sunday. Can that be possible? He was just a little baby when we moved here, and Colby was 4.
The birthday boy ~ Then.......
....and NOW!I love the fact that his birthday follows Thanksgiving. We are able to have his party during the Thanksgiving break. It usually also marks the day we get our Christmas decorations out.
This year, we let Eli get a real store cake. I have attempted (with mixed success) to make his other cakes, certainly no great masterpieces! He chose a Toy Story cake. No big surprise there, since he loves Buzz Lightyear. I think this is the first movie character he's really liked. He didn't understand that we had to wait for the cake after we ordered it. I think he asked several times in the days following for his cake. He was so excited to get to pick it up, but not so excited that he had to wait till dinner time! After a yummy chili dinner, it was finally CAKE TIME!
