Christmas

Christmas tree ~ Christmas Eve

Waking up to more beautiful snow!

We were excited to wake up Christmas morning to beautiful snow outside. Daddy read the Christmas story out of the Bible. Eli was more concerned about the presents. Every time Daddy took a break he piped in with "Is it time to open presents yet?" We've got some work to do on that. I was excited to get a breadmaker. We've already been trying out different things. One of my favorites is the pizza dough. It makes yummy pizzas! Colby got the police headquarter's he'd wanted for the last year, Noelle got a Christmas outfit for Kit, and Eli got his beloved Buzz Lightyear. Nate got a GPS (finally, we don't have to borrow one when we go on trips).

We had planned to have Christmas at my mom's, but my sister and her husband couldn't come until the following day. We decided to have my parents and other sister over for Christmas dinner. We had Baked Steak, one of Nate's favorite childhood meals, mashed potatoes, beans, fruit salad, rolls, and cake for dessert. It was delicious. It makes me hungry just thinking about it.

Nana and Papa have lots of helpers to unwrap presents.

new CATS for both boys from Papa. He just bought a real one for his shop. They can't wait to take a ride.

new sheets from Aunt Lois ~ princess for Noelle, Toy Story for Eli, and Cars for Colby

After everyone left, we were off to see GG, and then to get ready for church the next day. We were excited to spend Sunday afternoon with Aunt Sarah and Uncle Teddy and Mr Joel (Aunt Lois' boyfried) at Nana's house.
